WU SHEN

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wu Shen philosophy explains the nature and functions of the 5 Human Spirits. According to Wu Shen, each Spirit is responsible for an area of human psychological development and relates to a corresponding organ. When a Spirit is subject to the pressure of heightened emotions, it creates physical symptoms. These physical symptoms are usually in the form of chronic pain and illness.
